Fees and Payment

We are a privately billing clinic with reduced fees for pension and concession card holders. Children under the age of 16 years and eligible Veteran Affairs card holders will be bulk billed on presentation of a valid Medicare/Vet Affairs card. All procedures will also be bulk billed for anyone presenting a valid Medicare card. Payment is required prior to seeing the doctor – cash, eftpos and major credit cards accepted.

When the nurse is in attendance at Medicentre (weekends and public holidays) patients presenting for wound care management will be bulk billed upon presentation of a referral letter from their regular doctor, and a valid Medicare card.

Practice Policies

This practice is committed to providing comprehensive care to all patients. The doctors are trained and experienced in the broad range of problems dealt with in general medical practice. We believe your health is best managed by continuous care therefore, patients will be referred back to their regular GP for follow up of any tests or investigations ordered by a doctor at Medicentre.

Privacy

This practice is committed to maintaining the confidentiality of your personal health information. Your medical record is a confidential document. It is the policy of this practice to maintain security of personal health information at all times and to ensure that this information is only available to authorised members of staff.

The doctors at Medicentre will also give you a copy of your notes at the time of the consultation for you to take back to your own GP.
